Numbananga Lodge
The Verdict
Ever wished that skiing could be a legitimate form of transport? Good news—if you stay at Numbananga Lodge, you can actually ski from your accommodation to the slopes, and back again. It’s only 2 kilometres from Perisher Valley! Strap those skis on. Driving is so passé.
Numbananga Lodge has had a slick reno, and it’s perfect for your next skiing holiday. The three-bedroom self-contained lodge sleeps up to six guests, and has a gas-stove kitchen and an outdoor barbeque for your epic cook-ups. It’s in a remote (meaning super-private) location, so just make sure you load up with your food and mulled wine rations before you move in.
Best of all, there’s an outdoor deck for sunset-watching. The lodge is nestled in sub-alpine woodlands, and has super ‘grammable views of Smiggin Holes, Pipers Creek and the Perisher Ranges.
In the non-snow season, Numbananga Lodge is a prime base to chill after your outdoor adventures. There are heaps of walks, bike tracks and fishing spots at nearby Mount Kosciuszko National Park.
And we've got two words to say to that: treat yo’self. And since this place is in a super remote location, check here for driving directions.
