Ombretta is an Italian restaurant in Glebe that two friends, Niccolo Fagherazzi (previously of Fratelli Fresh) and Michael Schiavello (from Blackwattle Café), had the dream of opening up together. They are living out their dream of serving fresh and seasonal produce to create traditional Italian food.
The menu is constantly changing as each fortnight they focus on a new region of Italy as they explore the diverse cuisines around the wonderful country. Their menu is divided into four parts; antipasti, primi, secondi and dolci, where these sections are all inspired by the flavours and ingredients of the region they are currently concentrating on. You can always expect something different from this Sydney restaurant, which makes it so exciting to visit time and time again.
