The Verdict
Tea in a burger sounds crazy, doesn’t it? Not when you eat it at ONE Tea Lounge and Grill, the home of Matcha, where the antioxidant-rich green tea flows through every part of the menu (to everyone’s benefit, mind you). This CBD restaurant’s passion to deliver a creative and innovative food experience to customers has come to life with their eclectic burgers, desserts and cocktails.
Enjoy one of their Matcha Baogers (a pillowy fusion of a traditional Bao and a burger, infused with green tea) or cherish the taste of the famous ramen burger alongside some green tea fries. You’ll leave with so many antioxidants that it’s nearly impolite not to say how matcha you love them. Their newest offering has a two step ordering process, which involves a cookie shaped like a shot glass, which is filled with warm, delicious liquid glory. It sounds a lot more complicated than it is, but basically, you first choose two or three shot "glasses", which come in peanut, matcha and chocolate brownie flavours. Then you can choose which drink should fill your edible shot glass; matcha latte, peanut butter latte or *drum roll please* nutella latte. The flavours will change with the seasons so in winter you may find pure chooclate shots and in summer, cold latte shots. Yes. Just yes.
