The verdict

Oski is a pretty new café that has shown up in Kirribili and we think their Swedish cinnamon buns are something you need in your life. The Scandinavian Café is covering off all of the breakfast classics like porridge (with cinnamon, banana and honey) and smashed avo on toast, so you can basically choose how adventurous you’re feeling when you arrive.

Owner, Eric Varnhed is also paying homage to their roots by putting their own flair on Aussie staples like bubble and squeak, with a combination of sautéed ham, sausage, leeks and potatoes topped with a fried egg. The décor is as fresh as you would expect from a Scandinavian restaurant and although the cafe is cosy (with only 20 seats), the space is bright and light filled.
