Bringing big neighbourly vibes and epic cocktails, Otis is a slick cocktail bar that’s all about good times, with a sunny front nook, revamped upstairs lounge, and ample opps for people-watching.

Found in the growing Norton Street precinct (including Bar Italia and Crosstalk Records), Otis’ team boasts experience at top-tier bars including The Baxter Inn, The Doss House and Earl’s Juke Joint, so you know the cocktail game is strong—think foams, fat washes, house ferments, and plenty of native ingredients incorporated throughout.

While the former operation on the site, Golden Gully, was all vegan, the menu at Otis is about casual dining with share plates and amped-up sandwiches that hit the spot, including a porchetta roll with salsa verde, and seven-cheese toasties with truffle mayo.

Visit between 5pm and 7pm Tuesday–Saturday for happy hours with pints-for-schooner prices, and $12 Tommy’s margs and Negronis.
