The verdict
From the outside, this little gem looks like your average grocer but we’ll have you know, it’s so much more than that. Sure, if you want the real deal when it comes to off-the-shelf Filipino goods, Panlasang Pinoy is your go-to but these guys are also cranking a mean barbecue. And just a warning, the drool is real.
You’ll find juicy suckling pig, pork skewers (actually, all the skewers), chicken skin, fish balls, sour fish soups, fried rice and the Filipino national dish—adobo (made up of meat and vegetables in a spicy soup).
Around here, you’ll also come across a karaoke machine blaring in the corner and a small area so you can actually dine-in if you so choose. Because we guarantee that after indulging in the meaty affairs here, you’ll want to dig into the halo-halo ice-cream sundae with green leaf jelly and taro ice-cream.
And just so you know, there’s an all-you-can-eat buffet every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. You’re welcome.
