The Verdict
From Bondi's famous Icebergs, to a new kind of paradise of burgers, soda floats and sundaes, Paradise Road Diner is the new venture from chef David Owen. Open every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the 1950's American inspired eatery is serving up all the classics. Breakfast staples include the brisket hash and veggie hash, as well as house-made golden waffles served with Canadian maple syrup.
If you're there for lunch or dinner, passing up a burger really isnt an option, so go for a classic cheeseburger, or opt for the Cowboy, a beef burger with onion rings, BBQ sauce, cheese, bacon and tomato relish. Smoked meats are also on offer at this Bondi restaurant, and are also used to top off the chilli cheese fries (yum!). To really get your heart going (or stopping), the fried chicken and waffles with pomegranate, charred jalapeno and maple syrup, are a must-try.
