If there’s one thing we love about summer it’s drinking outdoors, which is why we couldn’t be any more excited about the newly renovated Paragon Hotel in the CBD.
With a brand spankin’ new open-air rooftop bar, this place is guaranteed to become yet another Sydney institution. Serving every cocktail you could ever dream of—yes, including frosé—it’s the perfect place to seat yourself for a classic Sunday sesh or after work drinks at sun down any (or every) night of the week (we don’t judge).
The first floor has been completely updated and we’re not just talking about the trendy AF interiors either. We’re talking about a whole new menu that’s so bloody delicious, you’ll want to order one of everything. Think burgers, pizzas, parmigiana and steak, as well as a whole heap of share plates like charcuterie boards, wood roasted octopus, beef short rib croquettes and crispy chicken wings. Drooooool.
If you’re after something with a little heart (and you hate sharing), opt for a dish off the smoke, fire and simply roasted menu, or in other words, order the smoke and fire tray with 200g of the smoked and wood fired meat of the day paired with grilled bread, chips and salad. Believe us when we say that no one in their right mind could regret this.
