East meets West meets Newtown at Pasha's on King Street. A favourite of the locals, Pasha's have been serving up the best of modern and authentic Turkish cuisine in Newtown since 1975. Bring the whole fam down and get a banquet that will excite everyone.
The whole menu, from the kayseri manti (Turkey's answer to the pork bun... but with beef) to the hunkar begendi (char grilled eggplant with marinated grilled lamb pieces) will have you weak at the knees. The decor will have you thinking you’ve jumped a flight to Turkey and with everything from traditional sweets (mmm baklava) to Turkish coffee (for that extreme hit) available, save that money because Turkey is in Newtown.
