The Verdict

This beachside bandit is located on the sunny corner of Mandolong Road and The Esplanade in Balmoral so yeah, you’re going to be downing a feast basically right on the shoreline.

Designed by the guys at Guru Projects, this laidback lil’ haven decked in all the wood and basket lights is serving up some serious feasts for your breakfast, lunch and dinner antics. With a kitchen churning out pretty plates by ex Vue De Monde chef, Justin Naudi, the menu preaches a modern Aussie line-up (yep lemon myrtle and eucalyptus both feature on the menu… a lot) of eats with a strong focus on paddock to plate.

And what to order? You’ll want to do yourself a solid and bring some mates so you can tick off as many plates as possible but the take on the staple avo on toast packed with smoked labneh, radish, olive oil and citrus on sourdough is a must.

You should also be ticking of the truffle eggs on toast because as if that wouldn’t kick off your morning the right way.
