The Verdict
The Phoenix in Woollahra is Greek gem. Established by three Greek-Aussie brothers, these larger than life boys have looked out towards the sea for inspiration for their menu. Featuring fresh, local produce, seafood is the big drawcard at this Woollahra restaurant.
Think saganaki prawns and their signature angel hair crab pasta. The non-fishy offerings are pretty tasty as well with the beef carpaccio or lamb gyro being mighty satisfying. And to complete that Mediterannean experience a drink or two wouldn’t go amiss. There’s craft beers, an eclectic wine selection and plenty of delicious cocktails to keep you well hydrated.
