Pino’s Dolce Vita
The Verdict
Pino’s Dolce Vita is regarded by many as a little Italy in the south of Sydney. After a devastating fire in 2016, this 40-year-old family-run business is back, bigger and better than ever, with an outpouring of support from Sydney-siders.
Pino’s is run by Pino and the love of his life Pia. It’s a cafe, an event space (think warehouse-style) and a speciality Italian grocer all in one where you’ll be greeted and treated as family. When you’re there be sure to check out their honey mascarpone crepes (swoon), fat and juicy steaks and their Muffaletta – an Italian “sandwich” packed with melt-in-your-mouth mortadella, salami, roasted capsicum, pesto, wagyu bresaola and more.
At Pino’s, there are over 100 varieties of handmade Italian sausages, an ever-growing line-up of cheeses from around Australia and the world, handmade cakes and pastries plus a café serving coffee, breakfast and lunch.
