Located in Haymarket's ever-expanding Thai Town, Porkfat dishes up authentic Thai food that will transport you straight to the bustling streets of Bangkok.
Owner and chef Narin “Jack” Kulasai serves up Porkfat’s meals on hand-painted ceramics, supporting Thai craft makers from Wiang Galon.
Like the name suggests, pork fat is a cruical ingredient in the cooking process, infusing dishes with loads of flavour.
Menu highlights include deep-fried pork belly with chilli lime nam jim, tamarind chicken wings and the marinated beef brisket pha-naeng curry.
One of the only menu items that doesn’t contain pork fat is Amphawa’s delicious homemade coconut ice cream with roasted peanuts, palm seeds and candied pumpkin—what a treat.
