Presti’s Deli And Grocer

Presti’s Deli and Grocer has taken over the former St Peters Fruitworld site on Unwins Bridge Road, continuing a decades-long run as one of the area’s go-to produce spots.

The new owners kept the store running for a year before renovating, using that time to understand the locals, and what they needed. The result is a full refresh of the warehouse-style space that keeps its produce-first foundation, while expanding into a more complete, everyday grocery offer.

Inside, it’s set up as a one-stop shop—fresh fruit and veg up front, backed by a grocery range and a full deli counter stocked with antipasto, gourmet olives and small goods in self-serve format. Deli meats are premium, including a few nitrate-free options, treated with naturally derived preservatives.

There’s also a dedicated panini bar, turning out made-to-order sandwiches using the same deli staples. The Presti panini is the bestseller—layered with abruzzese salami, prosciutto, roasted capsicum, pesto, chilli paste and rocket—while the Roman keeps things more classic with ham off the bone, mozzarella, tomato and basil.

It’s a clear step toward something bigger, too, with Presti’s positioning itself as the first move in building out a broader supermarket model—sitting right in the middle of gourmet grocer and full-scale chain, while maintaining their indepedant status.
