Process The Podcast has announced the launch of The Clubhouse — a limited 12-month creative space in Surry Hills positioned as Australia’s first community and event venue built around a podcast.

Founded by director, social strategist and podcast host Arielle Thomas, The Clubhouse expands the Process platform beyond audio into a physical space where creators, media and brands can work, host and collaborate under one roof.

The model is simple: production, programming and place combined.

At its core are fully equipped podcast and content studios designed for both audio and video recording. The space also functions as a small-scale events venue suited to intimate launches, panels and community gatherings. Brands can book it as a showroom or activation site, while visiting creatives and media can stay onsite in purpose-designed short-term accommodation.

Thomas says the concept came directly from lived experience. As a working creative, she saw a gap between aesthetic studios, functional workspaces and meaningful community hubs — and set out to combine all three.

The interiors have been developed in collaboration with McMullin, bringing a cohesive design approach that prioritises flexibility as much as visual identity. The intention is to create a space that can move easily between recording session, workshop, brand event and overnight stay without feeling disjointed.

Beyond commercial bookings, The Clubhouse will host regular events for the Process the Podcast community, creating in-person touchpoints for listeners and collaborators.

Located in inner-east Surry Hills, The Clubhouse officially opens on 18 February and will operate for a 12-month period. Bookings are available for studio hire, events, brand use and short stays.

For creators flying in for a project, brands looking for an intimate launch setting, or media needing a fully equipped content base, The Clubhouse positions itself as a practical home for creative work — built from the perspective of someone who understands the demands of it.
