Reset Studio Double Bay

Double Bay has welcomed Reset Studio, a boutique wellness spot designed to feel more like a refined private residence than a commercial facility. The space is centred around introducing traditional therapies into a contemporary setting—encouraging guests to slow down, breathe, and treat self-care as an ongoing appointment rather than a quick fix.

The studio offers all our tried-and-trusted faves: cedar saunas, contrast therapy, vitamin C showers and a halotherapy cave. Sessions are intentionally small; The Circuit, Reset’s guided communal flow, accommodates up to five people and moves between sauna, ice baths, steam and hydro elements at an unhurried pace. Two private contrast-therapy rooms offer a chance to switch off, while a dedicated room supports LED light work, massage and facial treatments.

Reset’s design brings together the work of Surface Gallery and Natural Brick, layering breccia stone counters, travertine-lined pools, sculptural concrete sinks, recycled marble composites, curved seating and French-wash finishes.

Himalayan salt blocks cast a warm glow through the space, and thoughtful touches (from hand-packed concrete elements to stone checkerboard flooring) give the studio a sense of coherence and calm without feeling slick or clinical. The red travertine halotherapy cave is a standout piece. 

Every part of Reset is designed to draw attention inward and allow guests to drop out of speed mode. Beyond day-to-day sessions, the studio also opens its doors for small events, photoshoots and product launches, extending its role as both a wellness destination and a creative space for the community.
