The Verdict
Menai’s answer to tapas and wine (two of our faves)—Rocksalt Tapas & Wine Bar is aptly named and well-stocked with all of your favourite things. We recommend that you kick the night off with a cheeky vino and a visit to the aperitivo menu, which features bruschetta, a baked garlic and parmesan pita, and an antipasto board that is piled high with all of the usual suspects.
From here, the menu is extensive, with loads of share plate and tapas options, with dishes like Mexican scallops, a chorizo and haloumi board, and slow roasted lamb shoulder. Their cocktail specials change regularly, but we’ve got our eye on their brand new Golden Gaytime cocktail, for obvious reasons.
