Rosa is Pyrmont’s Amalfi-inspired neighbourhood pasta bar, where you can indulge in authentic Italian dishes–all under $30.

Created by brother-sister duo Ben and Emily Calabro–the team behind the Pyrmont institution Quick Brown Fox Cafe–this restaurant brings a taste of Euro summer right to your doorstep.

With a menu crafted by veteran chef duo Daniel Grey (The Appollo) and Kira Sherry (Alberto’s Lounge), Rosa serves up simple, delicious dishes (Nonna approved) at affordable prices, available for both dine-in and takeaway.

Blurring the line between traditional and modern, Rosa offers fresh, handmade pasta like the penne pesto with basil, pork sausage, fried garlic, and pine nuts, or pan-fried gnocchi with roast pumpkin, sage, burnt butter and hazelnut.

Enjoy aperitif snacks at sunset like freshly baked focaccia from Pioik Bakery next door, paired with creamy burrata with heirloom tomato salad, tarragon and black cherry vinaigrette.

Choose from limoncello, Campari or Aperol spritzes to transport yourself to an Italian coastal terrazza. Or sip on classic cocktails like the Negroni Sbagliato while exploring a curated selection of Australian and Italian wines.

In collaboration with local designer Nicola Stillone, Rosa presents a bright, open space reminiscent of the sun-drenched Amalfi coast. The balcony or al-fresco seating is perfect for enjoying your linguine prawn alla busara and Venetian prosecco on those warm summer nights.

If a cosy, intimate interior is more your vibe, Rosa’s got you covered with modern, wooden indoor seating and an upstairs private dining area–ideal for sharing a pistachio tiramisu on your next romantic date night.
