The verdict
Saké Restaurant & Bar offers contemporary Japanese fusion dishes, with a delicious new menu curated by Neil Perry.
Revamping traditional favourites with fresh creations like the scampi tartare, Cape Grim short rib bo ssam and popcorn shrimp, it's no wonder that Saké has continued to impress with their revolutionary fare (not to mention the 40-strong saké list).
Their cocktail list changes seasonally and for colder evenings, the Japanese Shoemaker is a sweet and sour concoction of rich and fruity loganberry jam, yuzu and salty, nutty overtones. Their Spice Sekkusu is Sake's take on a margarita, with Herradura Silver, Grand Mariner, lime juice and a homemade syrup of mango, chilli and sour mix.
