Salumerie Bondi

Salumerie has just opened in Bondi dining precinct The Hub, on Hall Street—designed as an all-day Italian eatery and neighbourhood spot. Operating on a day-to-night format, the deli aims to transition smoothly from coffee and foccacia by day, to wine and aperitivo by night. 

The fourth Sydney outpost of the much-loved sandwich shop, this location is all about laneway-style perches and social coffee catch-ups—but you won't be missing out on the dishes that give them their name.

Menu highlights include a stacked spicy vodka lasagne foccacia sandwiches, alongside deli-style servings of house-made lasagne, tiramisu, fresh cheeses and meats. There'll also be seasonal faves popping up on the menu, with fillings like peach, stracciatella, hot honey and rocket on the cards.

Personally, we'll be lining up for their $2 espresso al banco, served with a heaped spoonful of tiramisu.  

Evenings are very much revolving around structured menu offerings right now—Wednesday nights kick off with a lasagne and wine night from 4pm to 7pm, followed by aperitivo from Thursday to Sunday: DJs, antipasti and spritzes popping up in the laneway of The Hub.
