One of Melbourne’s most popular Japanese-fusion restaurants has set up shop on Sydney shores and cue the tastebud excitement. Popping up in Surry Hills, SASH is located in a much larger space than its brother venue in Melbourne. With a rustic flare and painted watercolour splashed around the place, the neon lights and décor make for the perfect date night.

If you’ve never tried the beauty that is Japanese-fusion, then boy you have some catching up to do. On the menu, these legends are whipping up wagyu truffle tacos, sake buttermilk Japanese nuggets and sashimi pizzas.

But honestly, the cocktail menu is where it’s at. Head in and take in the long list of options including the yuzu cheesecake concoction to the ever-so-classic Japanese plum wine.
