The verdict

Single O has undoubtedly paved the way for a coffee movement with a conscience, placing emphasis on Fair Trade, organic, and sustainable drips. These legends have basically led the charge on all things coffee in Sydney since 2003, and you won't be disappointed with the quality, care, and ethos that goes into every cup. 

Over the years, they haven't skipped a beat either. In 2018 they announced their commitment to sustainable practices and have since cut their use of single-use coffee cups by more than 40%. Their roastery also runs on solar power. 

In 2019, off the back of the rise and rise of black coffee lovers in Sydney, they revealed specially crafted self-serve batch brew taps that dispense four different single origin brews. 

Breakfast here is equally as finessed. Try the banana bread with vegemite butterscotch sauce and "croc-ettes" with crocodile and Japanese curry sauce.
