The verdict

Rosebery is quickly becoming one of Sydney’s most pleasant foodie surprises, and with the news that the brains behind a few Sydney faves (think Surly’s, The Village Inn, and Riley St Garage) are opening a fresh new restaurant, it just got even better.

Stanton & Co. has a pretty damn beautiful dining room, bar and open kitchen so you can watch all of the magic happen (which we love). There are even two menus on offer, both combining the finesse of modern Australian fare and the delicious flavours of Japan.

For lunch, it’s a quick and casual a la carte situation and for dinner it’s all about the share plate. Think tempura kale chips with avocado to start, small plates of cheese onion gyoza and large plates like crispy pork knuckle with soy seeded mustard and pickled apple bringing it home.
