Bringing by-the-slice, pay-per-weight Roman-style pizza to Bondi Junction, Ta Ta Ta is the brainchild of Shlomi Palensya, who has over 20 years of high-end culinary experience abroad (including in Italy), most recently as executive pastry chef at Park Hyatt Sydney.
The compact pizzeria is all about al taglio pizza, with a thick, fluffy base that allows more toppings than a thin Napoli-style slice.
A big focus is on offering quality vegetarian and vegan pizza, with only a few selections featuring salami, with signature flavours like the mushroom bianca with parmesan cream sauce, three types of mushrooms, kale, chilli and mozzarella, and the white zucchini with fresh ricotta, zucchini flowers, sun-dried tomato, olives and fresh chilli.
On your first visit, definitely opt for the Chef’s Selection box, which will leave it to the pizzaiolos to fill a box with whatever’s looking best that day.
