Directly translated to ‘taco party’ in Spanish, Taqiza is exactly what you’re imagining and everything you need in your life right now. Whether you’re in the mood for an authentic Mexican feast or are ready to dive in deep with some of Taqiza’s (shall we say) more contemporary taco combinations like goat with lime or BBQ salmon and chilli.

Their use of fresh AF ingredients only enhance the traditional Mexican recipes used in the kitchen. All the meat is cooked by sous vide (shout out to the MasterChef-lovers who know all about this one) which adds an insane amount of flavour to the smoky beef short ribs and zesty tuna ceviche. 

House-made tortillas are the vessels for all of the veggies, fresh herbs and sauces (ooooh the sauces) because everyone knows that food is always better on bread. 

Live music is on the cards every Tuesday and Sunday, and as you’d expect; cocktails are pretty much compulsory. So grab a beer, get your guac on, and head to Taqiza STAT.
