This new rooftop bar in Sydney's CBD is set to become a major destination for more than its lush space.

Need moreish casual lunches two steps from the office? Sorted. Looking to ditch the suit after work for some relaxed drinks and music to get you in the mood for the weekend? Head to the secret little entrance off Tank Stream Way, and ascend the stairs to escape the noise of the city streets and create some noise of your own. Don't worry, it's not too hard to spot - look for the graffitied face drawn by street artist Lister himself, and keep looking at the many other faces up the steps. 

Start off with a botanical cocktail or glass of wine by the green wall, and lounge out on the couches to watch the sky darken as the sun goes down, with glimpses of the Sydney Harbour bridge if you position yourself just so. The Pearfected is true to its name with a nice blend of hazelnut vodka over ice, with fresh pear juice. Or if you're looking for a beer, Taylor's is one of the first bars in the CBD to host a Carlton Unpasteurised - you can't miss the giant copper keg!

Watch out for the food menu too, crafted by the new chef at The Republic, Lee Thompson. You'll find a happy combination of crowd pleasers and more refined creations. For a casual work lunch, you might tuck into the baby back riblet and pulled pork burger, but the confit duck or the sirloin with Compagnie de Provence butter are great for celebrating.
