Situated in what was once the Grand Ballroom of Sydney's historic Queen Victoria Building, The Tea Room epitomises the class and elegance of this historic site. Famous for High Tea served in two sessions—morning and afternoon—The Tea Room also offers an indulgent lunch menu, showcasing head chef Rob Crichton's take on modern Australian cuisine.

True to its name, The Tea Room also offers its exquisite teas to take home and gift to friends and family (also an excellent opportunity for lunch bragging rights). If they've sold out of your fave after lunch, the online gift store is your next best bet, where you can also find gift vouchers for their legendary high teas and lunches to share your fondness for the soft sound of clinking Royal Albert china. 

Everything is made in house and comes presented to dazzle (as much as those epic chandeliers!), so it's little wonder that a trip to The Tea Room is an experience to be savoured, and that it's home to beautiful weddings and events that impress.

VALENTINE'S DAY AT THE TEA ROOM

If you're looking for something unique and oh-so-romantique to do in Sydney this Valentine's Day, The Tea Room is opening its doors on the evening of the 14th February for an unforgettable dining experience. There'll be a decadent three-course meal created by Executive Chef Robert Crichton where guests can choose one of five dishes per course. The Tea Room Valentine’s Day three-course menu is priced at $100 per head and will commence from 6.30pm onwards on Sunday 14th February.
