Tella Balls Shellharbour

The Verdict

The home of the Nutella doughnut cone, Tella Balls, is opening a third store in Shellharbour and we’re damn well excited about it. They’re known for their ‘tella balls’ (aka giant Nutella-filled doughnuts) but trust us when we say that their sugary take on traditionally savoury snacks are downright delicious. 

On the menu there are a few classic desserts sitting alongside more wild inventions on the menu. Think giant gelato bowls filled with creamy goodness and on the other end of the spectrum—waffle burgers. These guys involve ice cream, banana slices and strawbs sandwiched between two chocolate-coated waffles, but if you want to go all out, it has to be the dessert kebab. Picture a house-made donut pita stuffed with fresh fruit, ice cream and Belgian milk chocolate shavings bathed in Nutella (duh). 

There is seriously something for everyone here (sweet fish and chips, anyone?) so we suggest you go hard or uhhhh, just go hard.
