The Verdict
We know you’ve all seen the pictures of Tella Balls Creations and now, guys, it’s just moved to north west Sydney and, oh yeah, we’re excited. These are the guys behind Nutella slurpees, sweet dessert kebabs and the doughnut ice cream cone of your damn dreams. If there was ever a place to eat dessert for dinner (sorry mum) this was it—so get there, STAT.
Tella Balls has become widely known for its over-the-top, insta-worthy desserts that are positively illegal (to our diets at least). Safest bet? Give their Tella Ball doughnut a whirl—we’re talking light and fluffy doughnutty (totally a word) goodness rolled in cinnamon sugar and filled with oozing Nutella heaven.
For those who want a little drama in their lives, give the Tella Tam waffles a go with a Tim Tam literally stuck in the middle like Excalibur’s sword. There’s also the Golden Gaytime pancakes for a twist on the classic Aussie summer favourite and surely you don’t need anymore convincing.
Taste adventurers beware, you may just have entered nirvana—this place has stacks of twists on the ol’classics. Trade in your ordinary bland dinners of pasta, lasagne and kebabs for their dessert versions instead. Yep, you heard right, they literally cut up crepe to look like pasta and drown it in deliciously sinful chocolate (pasta) sauce.
You know what to do.
