The newest cocktail bar and restaurant to hit up Glebe is the The Charleston. Straight from the heroes that brought you The Cottage Bar & Kitchen in Balmain, this establishment is bringing us to Carolina with a southern inspired menu. And to nip it in the bud, it’s flavours and deliciousness galore.

From the buttery jumbo prawns, oozing mac n cheese, smoky fried chicken burger and their take on the staple hush puppies (fried cornbread), The Charleston plates up all the filling feeds. For dessert, we suggest the brioche doughnuts covered in a bourbon glaze.

At the bar, you’ll find $10 pints and $6 half’s all day everyday with a cocktail menu focusing on playful adaptations of traditional drinks including infused sweet teas dubbed the “champagne of the south”.
