The Verdict
A takeaway shop dedicated solely to chicken is bound to be a bloody good time. Pair it with the fact that it’s by the Merivale guys and you’ll find yourself in succulent poultry heaven.
Located in the small shopfront next to The Paddington, The Chicken Shop serves take-away only rotisserie meats, salads and sandwiches by Ben Greeno (from the likes of Momofuku Seiobo, Sat Bains and Noma).
Each day the meat selection will change but expect the line up to include ocean trout, pork belly, lamb rump, glazed ham and beef rump. All meats are served alongside a selection of fresh salads (#health) and carb filled sides (think fries and potato gratin).
