The Corner Shop Cafe

The Verdict:

Western Sydney is having its heyday right now, and The Corner Shop Café is jumping on board. Pastel blue walls, and coffee cups alongside delicate flower arrangements on display make this café feel warm and inviting—and we love it. The stark white chairs initially feel too out of place for this quirky café, but you soon understand why, when they’re brought to life by the colourful food presented to your table. 

You will find the usual avocado on toast, but other items stray away from the average brunch menu that you would find at your local café on a Sunday. The Buddha bowl is one of these dishes—with poached eggs, avocado, quinoa and chickpeas, you’ll be rubbing your belly with glee afterwards (we were, anyway). The chia pudding is also worth a try, paired with seasonal fresh fruits, it’s a great way to start your morning.
