The verdict
Formerly the Duke of Gloucester Hotel, The Dog Hotel (no, not a hotel for dogs) is a craft beer haven by the same guys as Keg & Brew and Dove & Olive. Just like the modern gastro pub décor, the food menu is a similar story.
With a modern take on your classic pub feed, the menu features new school favourites like the chilli pulled pork po’ boy served on a French baguette and calamari fritti with chilli pink salt and lemon-lime aioli. Don’t feel like messing with the winning pub grub formula? Don't panic, there's plenty of chicken schnitzel and steak options featured as well.
