The verdict

Saporium is the gift that just keeps on giving. In addition to plying us with coffee, baked goods and healthy food that actually tastes good, they’ve gone and opened a bottle-o with wine and beer refilling stations. Let’s all just take a moment to let that sink in. 

The Drink Hive is the first of it’s kind in Sydney and is well stocked with boutique, local and artisan booze. Local brews from Batch Brewing Company, Young Henrys and Mornington Peninsula Brewery are sitting pretty in the rotation. 

They’re committed to reducing waste, which is why you should take your old bottles down and fill ‘er up. The Drink Hive is the brainchild of industry pros, Mal Higgs and Gregoire Bertaud, who are pretty excited to deliver quality alcohol at an affordable price. In addition to the genius refilling stations, this is also the place where you’ll find some lesser-known or hard to find tipples.

The doors opened on Saturday 26 November and the beer and wine has been flowing since.
