Name a better duo than all-day brunch and specialty coffee. No really, we’ll wait. The Factory Grind in Surry Hills is the kind of place where the people are lovely, learn your name and remember your damn coffee order as well (we know—it’s the dream). They’re serving up the good stuff all day long, from classic smashed avo to cappuccinos and to be totally honest, there’s a reason this place is our local. 

The menu has all the brekky dishes you could possibly want and need. Think avo crush with feta, cherry tomato, toasted almonds, zaatar, and poached eggs on toast. Or the  gozleme with sucuk, halloumi and kasar cheese, it's all completely house made and it's exactly what you're picturing right now. Mayyyybe even more delicious though.

If you’re heading here on a dusty Sunday morning then the menu has got your back. Introduce some #balance into your life with some of their crowd favourite salads like the roasted cauliflower with pea pureé or the chicken burger (filled with marinated chicken, cucumber, and chipotle aioli on a black charcoal brioche bun). Like we said, there’s a reason we keep on coming back to this spot. 

If you came here just for the coffee then welcome to caffeine-filled paradise. Think Turkish coffee, batch brew filters, and house-made 12-hour extraction cold brew. This one is especially important when you’ve just schlepped up the hill from Central and just need a cold glass of life. They're also fully licensed so they've got your arvo tipple sorted too. We know, it's the dream.
