The Good Filo
There are a couple of things that will always get us a little hot under the collar and baked Greek treats are one of them. So bellies at the ready South Sydney because you just scored yourself a bakery that’s pumping out exactly that. The Good Filo makes everything in-house and for those of you playing at home, we’re talking about alllll of your favourite things.
Co-owner and Head Baker, Kiriakos Metaxotos, has injected his love for the motherland into everything he bakes and FYI, everything is freaking good. You’ll want to order a LOT to go so you can eat your weight in pastry on the couch, with a cuppa and wearing your best stretchy pants. Think tasty morsels like tsoureki (big, soft, fluffy pastry with a semi-soft crust and galaktoboureko (basically a semolina custard spring roll) as good as your yiayia makes. We know it’s a big call, but we’re going for it.
