The Verdict
The Grand National Hotel has perfected the balance between hearty, wholesome pub food and tasty, fresh flavour combinations. The menu is varied, with classic pub feeds like the pie of the day and schnitty with slaw catering to the pub grub lovers and Thai beef salad and crispy skinned salmon doing it for the more progressive folk.
Even better, they have $15 schnitzels ALL DAY on Wednesdays — Happy hump day, indeed. Even better is the fact that on Thursday nights between 6pm and 9pm, you can pick up a cocktail for a tenner.
