Mastering the art of toasties and coffee (Monday morning dream team), the team behind House Specialty Coffee have made themselves more than comfortable at their new King St digs. This place is open for all main meals and specialize in a little bit of everything.  

You can start your day right with locally-roasted coffee from Blind Coffee Roasters and a plateful of baked zucchini with shaved jamon and jalapeño to accompany your usual fried egg on toast. For lunch, chow down on the sloppiest of all sloppy joes, served on a toasty garlic butter bun. And you can keep it casual in the evening, by parking it on a bar stool and tucking into one of their delish share plates (the buttermilk fried cauliflower with spiced pork and nutty pesto is a great place to start).

They’re serving drinks all day long, so your boozy brunch can kick off here and continue well into the afternoon (and night—no judgement).

The jazzy tunes of live music and their endless vinyl collection means endless good-vibes all round. It also helps that they bake things like fresh cream banoffee pies in house—what can we say? We’re easily pleased.
