The Verdict

If the line of excited and hungry faces queuing outside the always-teeming Italian Bowl every single night isn’t convincing enough to join the line, then one glimpse at food coming over the pass will. Here, they’re serving up monster sized bowls of creamy carbonara loaded with crunchy bacon bits and topped with parmesan cheese, and equally generous portions of spaghetti bathed in rich Bolognese sauce, and finished with fresh basil surely will be.

Warm your belly with a serve of the cheesy garlic bread to start, but be sure to save plenty of room for a huge bowl of their of the dishes above. If you’re feeling seafood, then order the king prawns served in a light white wine sauce, finished with chilli and fresh rocket or the simple—yet flavour packed—tomato Napolitana sauce topped with fresh. This is a DIY situation, where you pick your pasta, then your sauce and then cover the whole thing in cheese (it’s the only way).  

We suggest bringing your appetite (along with those trusty stretchy pants) as the homemade tiramisu, with layer upon layer of espresso soaked biscuit and mascarpone cream, is also mandatory.
