Located in Sydney’s waterside suburb of Vaucluse, The Neilsen is all about water views and fine dining. The restaurant is serving up contemporary Australian-Italian dishes, with fresh seafood and a surprising variety of incredible vegan and vegetarian menu options. That got your attention didn’t it? 

For dinner, our top picks include the entrée of cauliflower with smoked cheddar, crunchy macadamia and pops of pomegranate, or the tagliolini with wild mushroom, carrot emulsion and black truffle (we’ll never say no to truffle). There’s no way that you’re skipping dessert because the menu has dishes like coconut mousse with lime and sour cherry, and poached pears with chocolate crémeux and a crisp coriander seed shortbread.  

For breakfast, it’s a simpler story, with classics like brioche French toast and eggs Bennedict on the menu—but all with the signature twist of Head Chef Jeff Sue (ex-Ripples, Aqua Dining and Sotto Sopra).
