The Verdict
The Potting Shed is a welcome addition to the Grounds of Alexandria and is quickly forming a reputable status of its own. Living up to its cute name, the café’s hanging plants, terracotta pots and timber beams certainly award it points for ambience, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Beyond the décor however, the menu at this Sydney café offers an array of locally harvested and delicious dishes. With a focus on share plates, you must try the Kurobuta pork belly sliders, made with kimchi, cucumber and fresh coriander on charcoal brioche buns.
If you’re feeling thirsty than you’re spoilt for choice! Our favourite cocktail is the Watermelon Smash, created with fresh watermelon, Tanqueray gin and lime. Open every day of the week for both lunch and dinner, The Potting Shed is the perfect spot to meet, eat, drink and relax.
