The Vault Bar
Standing in the space of the old Scubar, comes a brand new speakeasy charging up Sydney’s nightlife.
Though Scubar's crab racing might be no more, Vault Bar is the underground joint blaring tunes and Young Henrys on tap until 3am that you’ll want to frequent on the regular. This dimly lit, neon-soaked space is packed to the brim with pinball arcade games and a popcorn machine to fuel all of your late-night antics.
The Vault Bar also dishes out one hell of a happy hour, available from Monday to Saturday, which means $5 schooners, $8 pints, $9 cocktails and $10 jugs. To top things off, the team here also whips up some of the best themed-nights around including “Coyote Tuesdays”, “Thirsty Thursdays” and “Throwback Sundays”.
When you work up an appetite, you’ll want to make sure you hit the burger menu. On the line-up, you’ll find the likes of the OG beer burger packed with grilled beef and cheese, the veg burger doused in honey labne and the infamous CFC burger loaded with buttermilk fried chicken, aioli, Asian-style pickles and chilli sauce. Should you be eyeing off the smoky meets spicy mac and cheese, the answer is yes, do it.
