The Verdict

The café scene on the northside continues to grow and we’re not complaining. This Artarmon café is serving up all your regular staples. Hash benedict? Check. Avo smash with tomatoes and poached eggs? Check. Bacon and egg roll? Double Check. However, they’ve also got some not-so-typical café fare with the Atlantic salmon pumpkin feta salad and yuzu-glazed pork belly quickly becoming lunch favourites.

And don’t even get us started on the drinks. For the health-conscious they’ve got plenty of fresh juices ready to do. However, if you’re in the mood for something a little naughtier than you can’t go past their shakes. Sporting crowns of whipped cream bejeweled with various sweets – it’s the perfect way to indulge. And for the coffee-addicted? They’ve now introduced a Texan size, so there’s really no excuse not to give The Wilkes a visit.
