The Verdict
Tokonoma, aka one of Sydney's best Japanese restaurants, offers an authentic Japanese dining experience within the heart of Sydney’s CBD. Combining traditional Japanese recipes with the freshest Australian produce, the menu is designed to be shared and features tempura, sashimi and nigiri, as well as a selection of robata (slow-grilled Japanese skewers cooked over hot charcoal). Don’t go past one of Tokonoma’s signature cocktails, such as the grapefruit and rhubarb paloma or the pineapple negroni.
