Bondi store Uashmama is the product of an interesting story. Essentially a retailer of paper bags, braces and aprons, the products are hand sewn in a cottage in Tuscany, and while they look and feel like leather, they are created from washable paper. They are soft yet resilient, with paper stretched and tanned to ensure its durability to be used over and over again. What's more is that the business' growth supports workers in the small town of Montecatini, which had struggled to survive. New designs are introduced regularly.
