Upper East Side Bondi has just landed in Bondi and it’s throwing all kinds of tropical vibes. If you’re looking for a lush oasis with incredible food and cocktails, right near the beach no less, then get here STAT.
This luxe AF venue is decked out with all the goods—we’re talking full-size palm trees, tropical plants cascading down walls and white exposed brick. And given it’s location right by the beach (just a cheeky 5 minute walk), there’s driftwood and bamboo furniture, white mosaic tiles and a ceiling of fairy lights (fairy lights).
When you’re done feasting your eyes on the décor, turn your attention to the menu. Kick things off with the Bloody Mary tempura oysters before moving on to the smoked fish finger milk bun slider with lettuce and rosemary mayo. This is not like the fish fingers you ate as a five-year-old, team. For mains, you’ll want to hit up the buffalo curd salad or something more substantial like a slow-cooked wagyu with smoky eggplant, broccoli and pickled onions.
But we all know a night out really doesn’t count unless cocktails are involved, and FYI—this place has many. There’s the voodoo punch which boldly mixes three types of rum, has a hint of apricot cherry, lime and grapefruit to boot. Or take the Upper East Side colada for a spin—this bad boy has Havana especial rum, coconut puree, lime, pineapple and Blu Curacao. It’s so tropical it hurts and we love it.
This place has it all (no seriously), so head here for brunch on the weekends if you can’t wait for dinnertime.
