The verdict

Hanging out at the base of the Blue Mountains in Glenbrook is Vincent Diner, the local go-to for a killer brunch with your BFFs, a chilled out date night or dinner with, well, your BBFs. The family-run business serves up the best poached eggs in town (honestly) with the obligatory avo on sourdough. Because would it even be brunch without it? No, the answer is no.

When dinner rolls around it’s all systems go on tapas style dishes. Our pick has to be the crispy Brussels sprouts—while the mere mention of Brussels sprouts might cause mild PTSD from childhood family functions where your grandma forced them onto your plate (and into your sad little belly). But trust us on this one, they are really damn good. Let’s just say they’re crispy AF, served with ginger eshallot and you definitely shouldn’t share.

With a seasonal menu that changes on the reg, there’s always a new dish on the menu and since they’re BYO, you can absolutely should bring along your favourite wine or craft beer. Maybe even both.
