The verdict

Wings and Tins is coming to Sydney and for lovers of an ice cold brew and finger licking good buffalo wings, this one is a no brainer. Before you go thinking that this place is keeping it simple with an entire menu starring two of our favourite things, well, think again.

These legends take their wings very seriously, so they’ll be mixing it up each week with specials like bacon wrapped wings, double fried and served on a waffle with hot sauce, maple syrup and lime aioli. And surely we can all agree that waffles and fried chicken is a God damn delicacy. Other honourable mentions are the smokey chipotle BBQ wings, classic cheeseburger and loaded fries.

If you’re feeling brave, then take the Russian Roulette challenge where just one wing in your order is covered in the T-bones Doom Juice Sauce, and let's just say that you won't want to be the unlucky one to pick up that bad boy. This is the hottest hot sauce in town (literally, it’s in the Guinness book of records), so if you (or your mate) finishes the wing of death then they’ll get their mug on the hall of fame and eat free.

On the drinks front, you’ll be all over the massive selection of local and imported craft beer cans and the three rotating beers on tap—right now, it’s all about the Balter CPA, Murray’s Moon-boy Golden Ale and Tiger. We also plan on grabbing a cheeky marg while we’re there, in case you’re wondering.

Wings and Tins is hiding behind Stanley Street in Darlo, taking over the No Name restaurant and you’ll know you’re at the right place when you clock the low-lit booth seating, each themed differently. Think Swedish 80’s ski cabin and one inspired by ‘ya mum’s house’. Yep, we know what you’re thinking and we’ll meet you there.
