The Verdict

Enmore just scored a new fried chicken joint with allll the fixin’s and you’ll be pleased to hear it’s by the same local legends behind Hartsyard. They knew you’d been missing their signature recipe since Hartsyard became Hartsyard 2.0 a few months ago. 

What’s even better? They have teamed up the the guys from YouTube sensation Mighty Car Mods who’ve designed for the venue. Think “wish bone” suspension supporting the tables and their fave Duco colour: Nissan 240Z white.

Their famous smoky chicken is on the menu, coming as pieces or on their Birdy Sando burger which is stacked with iceberg, melted American cheese, creamy mayo, hot sauce, pickles (all the pickles), all on a steamed butter bun—permission to drool. But that’s not where the fun ends people (not even close); sides are also essential, so expect mac ‘n’ cheese, creamed corn, coleslaw and so much more. We recommend you order one of everything and share it with all your mates. 

Drinks are on our agenda too, always, and they should absolutely be on yours too. They’ve given the drinks menu a bit of a zazz up with boozy slushies and thickshakes that are literally mixed with a cordless drill. Plus, for the cocktail purists, there are also pre-batched cocktails and margaritas.

Wish Bone has opened in the old Gretz spot on Enmore Road and yes, you definitely need to add this to your list even if only for the fried chicken.
