The verdict
Pioneers of Inidan dining in Darling Harbour, Zaaffran have been holding down the harbour fort for 17 years, with their authentic blend of culture rich cuisine and the freshest Australian produce.
The hawker style food as part of their ‘Koomcha’ menu is ideal as a starter or for sharing (just make sure you order a few dishes). Favourites include Firangi Frankie’s, which is Bombay’s version of the original taco with lamb, and the Dahi Batata Poorie, which is mini wheat spheres, spiced tomato, chickpea and moong beans served with a trio of toppings.
